Orto Parisi is the brainchild of Alessandro Gualtieri, the same nose behind Nasomatto, so you already know the pedigree is mad. He launched the house in 2014 and went completely left from what everyone else in fragrance was doing. "Orto" means garden in Italian, and the whole vibe is raw, earthy and primal: back to nature, back to the body, no watered-down nonsense.

These aren't your average perfumes. Everything is pure parfum strength, loaded with oils, built to project and stick to you all day. One spray and you've filled the room, people are turning round asking what you've got on, and you can still smell it on your jacket the next morning. Megamare is basically a tidal wave in a bottle, Terroni is dark and smoky, and Stercus is wild, leathery and earthy in the best way.
